Tudor silver gilt ball-headed dress pin. Circa 1500-1600 CE. 6.09g, 98mm. Each hemisphere is decorated with four filigree circle, each with a central pellet between four filigree annulets. Ref: Margeson (1993) p.11 no’s 26-28. From an Old English collection, purchased early 1990's.
